Social Action

Members can get involved in programming that provides outreach to our membership and the general community through our Social Action and Caring Committees. Our Social Action Committee works closely with the congregation community and beyond. As examples, these committees collect food and clothing for the needy and homeless, are involved in local community events, provide an annual Christmas dinner for one of the local senior housing facilities and other social service projects. Perhaps most important, they serve to support our members during difficult times, such as during illness or in the loss of a loved one.
